Guides & Tips
Room Codes & Timing Duel
Second Sumo is a browser WebSocket duel: share a room code, watch the clock, and stop closest to 0:00. The loser gets shoved off the platform. Matches are intentionally ~60 seconds — rematch immediately instead of overthinking.

Launch Impressions
Bite-size Party Duel
Inkster Games ships a tiny competitive loop that is easy to explain and hard to put down for a third rematch. The presentation is light, but the zero-clock mind game is sticky for stream overlays and friend-group calls.
As free browser multiplayer it fills a niche Steam party packs often ignore: zero install friction. Depth is intentionally shallow — the product is the rematch button.
Community Feedback
Early chatter treats Second Sumo as a palate cleanser between bigger games — sixty-second pride duels, then back to the main title. Praise focuses on frictionless room codes; complaints focus on needing a willing opponent and ordinary netcode variance.
It is not trying to be a ranked ladder. Measured against that goal, the launch reception is warm for a micro party tool.
